Stop looking at yourself through failed situations. Refuse to take inventory of those things you feel are “not working.” Begin to look at everything through God’s eyes. As you read the bible, use God’s words as the lens that allows you to focus clearly. See yourself in His image. It will change the way you approach everything.
Genesis 1:27 — So God created humans in his own image, in the image of God created both male and female.
James 1:23-25 — For if any be a hearer of God’s word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a mirror: For he sees himself, but as he goes his way, he immediately forgets what manner of man he was. But whoso looks into God’s perfect law of liberty and continues in it, not forgetting what he hears, but is a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deeds.
2 Corithians 3:16-18 — Whenever a person turns to the Lord the veil is removed. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. So that all of us, gazing with unveiled face on the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, from the Lord who is the Spirit.
