God’s desire is for us to walk in love and humility, without competition, arrogance or self-promotion. As we do this, we will bring encouragement to the Lord’s body by dwelling in unity. Ask God to reveal things that are inconsistent with His purposes. Let go of ego-driven agendas. Let the Spirit of God examine your motives and move you more and more toward spiritual maturity.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 —

or ever gets annoyed.
She never is resentful;
6 is never glad with sin;
she’s always glad to side with truth,
and pleased that truth will win.b]”>[b]
7 She bears up under everything;
believes the best in all;
there is no limit to her hope,
and never will she fall.
8 Love never fails.
