From a biblical perspective, knowledge management has two aspects:
- Rightly dividing the Word (2 Timothy 2:15)
- Applying the Word (Matthew 7:24)
To merely have knowledge of the bible does not make one wise. There is a bridge between knowledge and wisdom — it’s called: application. Hearing truth, or even knowing truth does not come close to the power of doing what we know to be true.
James 2:26 — For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, even so faith apart from works is dead.
2 Timothy 2:15 — Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Matthew 7:24 — Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.
