Mind Makeover

By the time I was born-again, I was an adult. It wasn’t until I was 25 years old that I became a new creation in Christ. When I did, not only were old things swept away, but I was reconciled to God by Christ Jesus. While my spirit came alive, my habit of living and my manner of thinking did not get born-again. I needed a mind makeover.

The books of Romans encourages us to renew our minds. To renew something means to make it new again; to restore to original state; to return to the place of newness; to reclaim or convert to something useful.

Today, let the Spirit of God continue His transforming work on your mind.

2 Corinthians 5:17 — Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Romans 12:2 — And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Romans 8:6 — For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Philippians 4:8 –Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
