Your body is an instrument to be used — not abused. It is the vehicle that will carry you through the plans and purposes of God for your life. The bible explains that you were bought with honor, and now you should honor God in your own “temple” — otherwise known as your body. (1 Cor. 6:20)
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 — Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
Ephesians 5:29 — After all, no one should ever hate their own body, but they shall feed and care for their body, just as Christ cares for the church.
2 Corinthians 6:16 — What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”a]”>[a]
