Hold Your Peace

Be alert for situations that have the ability to waste your time and energy, and put you into an emotional tailspin. These moments can challenge your integrity and tarnish your testimony. Hold tightly to your peace. In moments of frustration, listen for the wisdom of God and let His Spirit lead you.

Proverbs 11:12 — It is foolish to speak scornfully of others. If you are smart, you will hold your peace.

Job 33:32-33 — If you truly have something to say, answer; speak up, for I want to vindicate you. If not, listen to me: hold your peace, and I will teach you wisdom.

Exodus 14:14 — The Lord will fight for you while you [only need to] keep silent and remain calm.
