There are times when life can seem like a roller coaster — causing our emotions to hit highs and lows. If you are experiencing a moment like that, the word of the Lord is: “Be looking for level ground.” God wants you to trust Him to lead you to a place of stability.
Isaiah 40:4-5 — Every valley shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low; the uneven ground shall become level, and the rough places will be smooth. And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and everyone will see it together, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.
Proverbs 3:5 — Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not to your own understanding.
3 John 2:1 — Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as your soul keeps well and prospers.
Psalm 121 — I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you—the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm—he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
