I remember when I first had an encounter with Jesus, and God’s Spirit came to live inside of me. I could see things I’d never seen before. My eyes were open. For the first time I understood there were two kingdoms — and two fathers. And, I could really see that when I was without Jesus, I got the devil by default. Everything changed the day I could see two kingdoms.
John 8:44 — Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Romans 8:15 — The Spirit that we received is not a spirit that makes us slaves again and causes us to fear. The Spirit that we have makes us God’s chosen children. And with that Spirit we cry out, “ Abba,[a] Father.”
John 3:3 — Jesus answered, “I assure you, everyone must be born again. Anyone who is not born again cannot see into God’s kingdom.”
Luke 17:21 — People will not say, ‘Look, God’s kingdom is here!’ or ‘There it is!’ No, God’s kingdom is here within you.[a]”
