
Be honest. Have you ever felt like you just couldn’t take it anymore? When you find yourself at the breaking point, ask God to give you His patience and comfort. Even if nothing about your circumstance changes, your increased awareness of unseen support can lighten the load.
Romans 15:4-5 — For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Now may the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward one another according to Christ Jesus.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 — Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
Matthew 5:4 — Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
James 1:2-4 — My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers trials; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
Psalm 91:11 — For He will give His angels orders concerning you, to protect you in all your ways.
