Trust can be a complicated thing. On our journey through life, we learn that there are, at times, people and situations that we should not put our trust in. But, God is unlike our flawed earthly experiences. When it comes to putting your trust in God, let your roots run deep. Be grounded firmly in trust for your heavenly Father. He cannot fail you.
Jeremiah 17:7-8 — But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.
Psalm 28:7 — The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.
Psalm 36:7 — How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.
