Be diligent about putting your trust in God. You may be tempted to put faith in your own knowledge, or maybe in things you see or hear, but misplaced faith will not yield the results you desire. If you are not diligent, you may wind up further away from God’s purpose for your life. Check within yourself to discern where you have placed your trust, and adjust is necessary.
Proverbs 4:23 — Guard your heart with all diligence,
For out of it flow the issues of life.
Psalm 20:7 — Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
Psalm 118:8 — It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man.
Proverbs 3:5-6 — Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
