Salvation is Free

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. – John 3:16

Freedom from sin has been made possible through God’s grace – Titus 2:11.

By simply confessing our sins and asking Jesus for forgiveness, all our past sins are erased and we are made brand new in God’s sight – 1 John 1:9, 2 Cor. 5:17

A prayer to accept

Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. I am sorry for the wrong that I have done and for the sins I have committed. I believe that you are the Son of God. I believe that you died for my sins and on the third day you arose from the dead. I give you permission, Jesus, to be the Lord of my life. I have asked and I believe that by grace I am saved. Now, please help me to open my ears and heart to you. I need your Holy Spirit for guidance and to lead me to know truth. Help me desire to study and meditate on your Word. Give me a yearning to pray and to seek your face. Help me to commit my ways to you, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

I just accepted Jesus

Congratulations! Since you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are a part of God’s family. Take time to get to know God. Join a church, read the Bible, and take time to pray regularly. As you do this, God will give you peace and help you to begin to change your actions and thoughts that are contrary to His ways. God may also show you a deeper purpose to your life—the life He designed just for you. Now that you know Jesus as Lord, it doesn’t mean all your problems and difficulties will disappear or that new ones will not occur. However, it means that you now have hope through Jesus Christ and through Holy Spirit’s power within you, that you can overcome life’s difficulties.

I’ve already received salvation

We praise God that you are already a part of God’s family. Continue to submit your will to God and seek Him diligently. It’s important for Christians to find ways to learn and study the Bible and pray daily. Remember we are the light of the world. So let your light shine as you represent Jesus Christ.

A prayer to rededicate my life

Lord Jesus, I have turned away from you. Please forgive me for this and for other sins I’ve committed. I do believe that you are the Son of God. I believe that you died for my sins and by your resurrection from the dead, you gave me newness of life. I once again give you permission, Jesus, to be the Lord of my life. Please help me to open my ears and heart to you. I need your Holy Spirit for guidance and to lead me into all truth. Help me desire to know you better through your Word. Give me a yearning to pray and to seek your face. Help me to commit my ways to you, in the Name of Jesus. Amen

I’m not ready yet

The truth is that you may feel you’re not ready to give your life to Jesus Christ for various reasons. Don’t take it for granted that you will have a “next time” to accept the gift of salvation. You may have reasons for not accepting Jesus Christ, but give God a chance to help you work through the issues that have allowed you to reject Him. Please, accept Him today.
